Software Developer (Remote)


SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT 70% 

  • Understand how our applications operate, structured and how our customers use them 
  • Produce and maintain clean, efficient, testable code base to specification and company coding conventions 
  • Design and update software database 
  • Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements 
  • Trouble shoot and debug existing code base 
  • Ensure code is committed to subversion, can run, and is tested 
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to software programming 
  • Build integrations into other platforms as and when required 

SUPPORT 20% 

  • Provide engineering support when building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems for customers using Freshdesk 
  • Build new reports and enhance existing reports as requested and as per specification 

DOCUMENTATION & SYSTEMS 10%

  • Contribute to technical design documentation 
  • Use and maintain development tools to company standards e.g. JIRA, Subversion 
  • Contribute and actively participate in all Sprint related meetings 
  • Maintain and update timesheet on a daily basis and submit weekly
